TAGC is inviting our young members to participate in the essay writing competition as a part of Ugadi celebations on 27th March 2010. Following are the topics:

Middle School & High School

Is Global Warming Real or Hoax ?

Elementary

Mommy I want to be a - - - - - when I grow up.

(Express yourself what you want to be or what you want to do when you grow up)

Guidelines

1. The essay length should not exceed 500 words and it must fit within One Page only.

2. The first page should have the name and information about the participant and the essay should begin on the second page.

3. Winners will be selected based on Honesty, Originality in expression, Authenticity in experience and expression.

4. All essays should be submitted by 21st March 2010 11.59pm.

5. Winners will be announced during the 2010 Ugadi program on March 27th.

6. The essays of the winners along with their pictures will be posted on the tagc website.

7. Essays should be emailed to youth@tagc.org

8. Winners in each group will be awarded $100 and runners up $50.

9. All the participants will be awarded participant certificates.

10. All the participants have to be enrolled as TAGC members by 21st March 2010.
